Part Number:Brembo - 19x18

The Brembo GP MK2 Series Brake Master Cylinder - 19x18. The Brembo Racing master cylinder comes in either a standard lever or a folding lever. Here at Discount Superbike Parts we offer both options. The folding lever is great in case of a crash you can still use the brake lever and make it back to where you need to be without having to get towed. In a low impact crash the folding lever will bend upward or downward depending how the impact happened. The Standard lever does not bend and might break upon impact.

The Brembo Racing Master Cylinder 19x18 has a 19mm Diameter piston x 18mm Stroke. This master cylinder is the same bore and stroke as most sportbikes oem master cylinders. This Brembo 19x18 master cylinder may be used in most supersport race series depending on your race organization (Contact your race organizations for legality).

Please choose either folding lever or standard lever.

Uses DOT 4 Brake Fluid (must purchase separately)

Required hose for brake reservoir is 6mm.

Weighs 306 grams

Does not come with brake micro-switch to work the brake lights. The street legal version is the Brembo RCS 19 master cylinder (comes with brake micro-switch).

Personal Experience:
I had the oem master cylinder on my 2007 gsxr 1000. The OEM master cylinder just wasn't getting the job done at my pace. I upgraded to the high performance Brembo 19x18 folding lever master cylinder and dropped 6 seconds off my lap times in 1 trackday. This product will improve braking performance on any sport bike or race bikes. I could squeeze me OEM Suzuki master cylinder to the handlebar after a hot session on the track. After i upgraded to the Brembo 19x18 master cylinder that all changed. I would come off the track and my brakes still had great pressure better than my OEM master cylinder had when the fluid was cool.
